We want to help you build that world. We want it to be one-of-a-kind, and we want it to make you smile. Maybe you’ll find a beautiful wooden chair where you can sit and think. Maybe it’s a set of dishes that brings back good memories. Maybe it’s a funky lamp or a colorful rug or a painting you can’t stop looking at.

Since 2004, store owner Katie Gagnon has poured her soul into Blue Moon, constantly refreshing her offerings and seeking the story behind each piece. Her efforts have been lauded by the community and local press.

The store constantly evolves. What began as a staple for sturdy vintage furniture has now expanded to an emporium for all things interior, including distinctive accessories, lighting and jewelry.

As for the reason behind the shift, Gagnon points to her newest, growing customer base: the young and stylish. They’re decorating their first apartments. They’re starting real jobs and shedding dorm-ware. They’re beginning life and doing it with panache.

And then, of course, there are the young at heart. Those with good taste that just gets better with experience. Those whose homes are also evolving. Those who are also shedding the old and trying new things.
